Multiple OS in VPS Hosting
Our virtual private server solutions include three Linux releases that you can pick from for the Operating System of your new hosting server - Debian, Ubuntu and CentOS. Apart from being totally free, the OSs are really stable and safe and the primary reason to offer you the three of them is to ensure that you can run each app that you would like, since different pieces of software could have different requirements for the environment they can be used on. Each of the three OSs is backed by a huge community of web developers who have made a large number of software packages that you can install and use on your VPS. Depending on the Operating System that you pick, you will also be able to select between three different Control Panels to control your hosting content. Also, should you decide that you need a different OS, we can always re-install the server with it. As a paid upgrade, we also provide weekly updates of the Operating System for maximum stability and security.
Multiple OS in Dedicated Web Hosting
We offer three Operating Systems with our dedicated server plans - CentOS, Ubuntu and Debian. They're all different Linux distributions and we offer them not only because they are totally free so they won't increase the price of your new hosting server, but also because they are extremely stable and secure. Each one of them is backed up by a huge community of web developers, so you will be able to choose from thousands of software packages that you may install on your server if the app that you would like to work with has certain requirements. The Operating System will also determine what web hosting Control Panel you can use since the Control Panels that we offer are compatible with particular OSs only and since we want to give you as much adaptability as possible, we offer multiple OSs and multiple Control Panels. If you get a server with a certain OS, we can change it upon request if it turns out that you'll need another one. We will also keep the OS updated weekly as part of the useful Managed Services upgrade.
