Unlike other Control Panels where add-on domains store their content within the main domain folder, every domain or subdomain in Hepsia has its own folder, therefore using JailHost can make a big difference. You will be able to pick which Internet sites will use the feature and will be locked depending on your content since you could have some site where you'd like to allow users or admins to be able to access other folders in your hosting account. Nevertheless, this feature will add an extra level of security to your sites in addition to the firewalls which we use and even if any of your websites gets hacked, you will be able to recover it easy and fast using any of the multiple daily backups of your entire account that we will generate.

JailHost comes with all of our semi-dedicated hosting plans and you will be able to activate it with a couple of clicks. It is not enabled by default because we do not want to prevent some scripts that need to access multiple folders in the account from working properly. You could activate JailHost for all other Internet sites that you have from the Hepsia Control Panel and you can do this quickly even when you have no previous experience. What enables us to offer JailHost is the way Hepsia maintains multiple domains - they all have separate folders which can be "locked". In contrast, other widespread Control Panels feature add-on domains and the content of the latter is kept in the primary domain folder, so in case a single Internet site is hacked, the whole account is hacked, that isn't the case with Hepsia. In case an Internet site gets damaged despite your efforts, we will be able to recover it the way it was almost immediately because we will keep a couple of daily backup copies of your entire account.
